Tips for Writing Synopsis for Project
- Presentation and Formatting: Synopsis should be well-presented with no spelling mistakes. Use normal fonts, normal margins, and line spacing no narrower than 1.5.
- File Name: Synopsis file name should not be generic like synopsis.doc. That works fine for you on your computer – but the agent probably has 100 files from writers with that exact filename. Your file should be in the format title-synopsis like research-topic-synopsis.doc.
- Active Voice: Synopsis should be written in active voice and third person.
